Our children’s minister’s son died of fluid in his lungs and was dead within 90 minutes.
The child was in the intensive care unit of the hospital, and a doctor came into the waiting room where the mother, father, another of our pastors and I were waiting. He explained to us that the child was dead: lungs collapsed, no signs of life, etc. As the mother, the other shepherd, and I prayed, the father went to his room. We powerfully unleashed our faith ordering death to leave.
Meanwhile, the father laid his hands on the child and asked that Jesus raise the boy to life. After that, he returned to our waiting room. After a minute, the ICU doctor came into the room and told us that he could not explain it, but the child’s heart was beating again. That stretch of time when the baby was dead caused some physical damage that remains. They remind the child of that day. His name is Timothy Williams. His dad is Brandon Williams, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, Arlington, Texas.
