In the fifth month of pregnancy, doctors discovered the fetus had an abnormality of the genitourinary system – obstructive uropathy.
This caused his kidneys to swell and his bladder walls to thicken, causing water to enter his kidneys.
Two weeks after birth, my son underwent his first surgery to correct the abnormality. Six months later, the doctors discovered that despite the surgery, the water level in the kidneys was still high and the bladder wall was very thick, making it difficult for it to contract and relax. The specialists told me that my son might need medication for the rest of his life.
I had attended Manmin megachurch since I was a little girl, and I truly believed in God and lived by His Word. I believed that God had the power to heal my son. I asked the members and ministers of the congregation to pray for my son, and after a while, I noticed an improvement.
We were having a routine checkup at the doctor’s office when the doctor pointed his thumb at me and said: “The hydronephrosis is gone! The ureter, which used to be 6 mm long, has retracted to 2 mm and is now normal thickness. The bladder wall has also become thin.” He added that even his kidney function level had become normal. Hallelujah!
When I walked out of the hospital hearing this, God’s love filled my heart. My son Isu is now 2 years old and growing up perfectly healthy.
