I was born in Omsk, Russia on March 9, 1979, in a normal family.
In 1995, I first tried drugs intravenously and began using them regularly.
Since that day, my entire life has been revolving around heroin. From home I sold everything I could. Many times I tried to leave them myself, but it did not work. In 2001 I ended up in a drug dispensary where I was discharged. After the hospital I started drinking alcohol, thinking that my life would get better if I used it moderately. But everything went even worse.
My relationship with my family was finally broken off. I started living in brothels, now using alcohol and drugs. In spring 2004 I met my classmate and he told me that there is hope. This is how I learned about Jesus Christ and the hope He gives.
On April 20, 2004, I went to the Christian rehabilitation center “There is hope”, successfully went through rehabilitation, where I was released from all addictions. God gave me a beautiful wife and children. I am sincerely thankful to God for everything He did in my life.
